I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine worked at Wynne Municipal Airport in Wynne, AR and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the best way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a little more reading to see which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Wynne as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
