I have spent the last few months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at Hawkins & Powers Aviation Inc in Worland, WY and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to determine which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Worland as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
