I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine briefly worked at Hawkins & Powers Aviation Inc in Worland, WY and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more research to see which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Worland as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
