I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Worcester Airport in Worcester, MA and he said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more research to see which packages offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Worcester as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
