I have spent the last few months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine worked at Skypark Airport in Woods Cross, UT and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more reading to see which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Woods Cross as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
