I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Airport Supplies & Service in Winthrop, MA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a bit more investigating to work out which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Winthrop as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
