I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine used to work at CBA Lighting & Controls Inc in Windsor Locks, CT and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do some more investigating to work out which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Windsor Locks as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
