I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at National Car Rental – New Hanover County Airport in Wilmington, NC and he once said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more reading to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Wilmington as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
