I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Cochise County Airport in Willcox, AZ and she said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Willcox as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
