I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Honeywell Aerospace in Wichita, KS and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do some more reading to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Wichita as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
