I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Ryan International Airlines in Wichita, KS and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to determine which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Wichita as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
