I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at American Bonanza Society in Wichita, KS and she said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more research to determine which products offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Wichita as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
