I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at AAA Cab &Livery LLC in West Hartford, CT and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to work out which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in West Hartford as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
