I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Florida International Airport in Wauchula, FL and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more reading to determine which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Wauchula as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
