I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at Air Trek in Waterloo, NY and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to work out which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Waterloo as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
