Washington Software
I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Airports Council International in Washington, DC and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:
Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.
So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:
- easily automates the contract cycle
- improves compliance on both sides
- lowers risk
- improves clarity
There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.
Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:
- Contract Connect
- Khameleon Software by Oracle
- Blueridge Software
- ProCon
I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.
My next step is to do a bit more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Washington as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
