I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine worked at Rhode Island Airport Corporation in Warwick, RI and he said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to determine which packages offer the best features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Warwick as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
