I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Cape Air in Warwick, RI and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to work out which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Warwick as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
