I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Civil Air Patrol in Victorville, CA and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

• Memba Context

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more reading to work out which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Victorville as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
