I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine briefly worked at Dayton City Of Dayton Department Of Aviation in Vandalia, OH and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the easiest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a bit more research to work out which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Vandalia as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
