I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Nogle & Black Aviation in Tuscola, IL and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are further benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to determine which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Tuscola as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
