I have spent the last few months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine worked at Radisson Inn Tulsa Airport in Tulsa, OK and she said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to determine which programs offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Tulsa as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
