I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Truckee Tahoe Airport-Operations in Truckee, CA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to determine which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Truckee as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
