I have spent the last few months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Hiatt Airport in Thomasville, NC and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are further benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Thomasville as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
