I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine used to work at Terre Haute Air Center in Terre Haute, IN and he said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other product advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the best way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to work out which programs offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Terre Haute as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
