I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Ryder in Tecumseh, MI and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to determine which packages offer the best features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Tecumseh as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
