I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A friend of mine worked at Tappahannock Airport & Cafe in Tappahannock, VA and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to work out which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Tappahannock as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
