I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Love’s Landing Aviation Community in Summerfield, FL and she said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to see which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Summerfield as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
