I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Sullivan County Airport in Sullivan, IN and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a bit more research to see which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Sullivan as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
