I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine worked at Airs in Stow, MA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do some more research to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Stow as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
