I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Yellow Rose Aviation in Spring Branch, TX and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to determine which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Spring Branch as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
