I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine worked at Snoh Flying Serv Inc in Snohomish, WA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Snohomish as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
