I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Sioux City City – Airport, Administration in Sioux City, IA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Sioux City as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
