I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Sebring Regional Airport in Sebring, FL and he said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to work out which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Sebring as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
