I have spent the last few months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at Transiplex Inc in Seatac, WA and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more research to work out which products offer the best features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Seatac as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
