I have spent the last few months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Western Nebraska Regional Airport in Scottsbluff, NE and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really must reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to work out which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Scottsbluff as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
