I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Rent A Wreck in Sault Sainte Marie, MI and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more reading to determine which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Sault Sainte Marie as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
