I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at KAS in San Marcos, TX and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to see which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in San Marcos as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
