I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at San Jose Jet Center in San Jose, CA and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in San Jose as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
