I have spent the last couple of months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A friend of mine worked at Stinson Airport in San Antonio, TX and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to see which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in San Antonio as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
