I have spent the last few months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at Creve Coeur Airport Improvement Corporation in Saint Louis, MO and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further product advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to see which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Saint Louis as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
