I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at St Clair Airport in Saint Clair, MO and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more reading to determine which programs offer the best features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Saint Clair as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
