I have spent the last few months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Sacramento International Airpor, Administration in Sacramento, CA and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to work out which packages offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Sacramento as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
