I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Executive Airport – Airport Operations in Sacramento, CA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to determine which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Sacramento as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
