I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Airport Lighting Equipment in Rupert, ID and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to work out which programs offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Rupert as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
