I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at K & C Engineering Inc in Romulus, MI and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to work out which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Romulus as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
