I have spent the last few months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at Lewis University Flight Department in Romeoville, IL and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows organisations to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to see which packages offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Romeoville as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
