I have spent the last few months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A relative of mine worked at Greater Rockford Airport Authority in Rockford, IL and he said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really should narrow it down to the best software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more reading to determine which programs offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Rockford as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
