I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Rochester International Airport in Rochester, NY and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more investigating to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Rochester as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
