I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at Roberts Thomas E in Roanoke, TX and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do some more reading to see which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Roanoke as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
